The Northwest Parkway Public Highway Authority was established in July 1999 by the Cities of Broomfield and Lafayette and Weld County. The Northwest Parkway is a 75-mile per hour toll road that seamlessly connects with E-470 at north I-25, and with U.S. 36 in Broomfield. The Parkway opened to traffic on November 24, 2003, and toll collection commenced on January 1, 2004.
